Congratulations Mayor Haddix,
I just had a question about the process in "site plans" in commercial developments. What has made PTC a special place is planning and attention to detail. My question is, if a developer in their approved plan changes it during build out, who scrutinizes and follows up? Ex: Mcintosh Village on the west sides approval plan shows bricked in crosswalks at Planterra, Macduff and at all Cart crossings. When they first widened the highway, they started bricking it in and then removed it. One golf cart crossing at the rear access road is bricked in, but not elsewhere. Also there was an additional fountaint between "Gezzos" and "5 Guys". I know it's nit picking... but PTC becoming anywhere USA is not what I was hoping for. Thanks |

Complex issue.
GDOT always has a say in such things. Community Development reviews all changes. Sometimes the Planning Commission is involved, sometimes Council and sometimes both. It all depends on the combination of the original approved a plans, GDOT approval and compliance with ordinances. As well is the issue one of an approved plan or the 54W Overlay, which is not an actual plan, but a goal. To ask on a specific issue it is best to email info@peachtree-city.org and ask your question. Betsy will get with or forward to the appropriate members of Staff for an answer. |
